Job Description

Grindal Legal is a boutique law firm in South Melbourne specialising in property, mortgage lending and wills and estates. We are a friendly team that takes pride in our work and our clients’ success.
The opportunity
​
In a busy and diverse role reporting to the Mortgage Operations Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:
​
Mortgages
-
Verification of loan documentation
-
Arranging settlements
-
Performing settlements on the Property Exchange Australia (PEXA) platform
-
Arranging and lodging settlement documentation
-
Liaising with our Client, Mortgage Managers, Solicitors and other land and property departments.

Quality assurance
Client relations
-
Assist with provision of quality legal services to clients
-
Develop and maintain client relationships where appropriate
-
Identify and analyse situations and problems so that viable solutions are found
-
Approach tasks and problems so that the needs of client can be achieved
Teamwork and leadership responsibilities
-
Contribute to group cohesiveness, motivation, commitment and effectiveness
-
Participate in team and firm meetings
-
Interact well with staff and principals
-
Listen and respond to needs and concerns of others
